Our Story
At Mending Hope Equine Rescue, equine wellbeing is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Focusing one saving one horse at time from the slaughter pipeline to ensure we can care for our current equine. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps Equines reach their full potential and find forever homes. Learn more about the positive impact we have and join us in bringing about positive change.
We also recognize the impact a horse can have on our lives! We visit skilled nursing facilities with some of the rescues. We offer a Horses & Heros Program for Veterans that is partnered with Patriot Horsemanship.
Our founder has master's degree in advanced nurse Practitioner & certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner. With a mental health education and work background.
